BOOKING AND PAYMENTS

  • A non-refundable deposit is required when you book.
  • The rest of the payment must be made at least 7 days before the tour starts.
  • If we don’t receive the full payment by the due date, your booking may be cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded.
  • All prices are shown in the currency stated at booking and include only the services listed in your confirmed itinerary.

 

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

All cancellations must be sent in writing to buddhatrailstours@gmail.com. The date we receive your email is the official cancellation date.

If your booking was made through a third-party website, you must cancel directly through that website. In such cases, the cancellation and refund policy of that website will apply, and it may be different from our policy.

 

Day Tours (No Overnight Stay)

  • Cancel at least 72 hours before the start → Full refund (excluding deposit)

  • Cancel within 72 hoursNo refund

 

Multi-Day Tours (Without Hotel)

  • Cancel at least 7 days before the start → Full refund (excluding deposit)

  • Cancel within 7 daysNo refund

 

Multi-Day Tours (With Hotel)

  • Cancel at least 30 days before the start → Full refund (excluding deposit)

  • Cancel within 30 daysNo refund

 

Special Note

If you must cancel due to unavoidable and extraordinary events at the destination (such as natural disasters or government restrictions), you may be entitled to a full refund.

 

ITINERARY CHANGES

We aim to run tours exactly as planned, but changes may be needed due to weather, safety, operational issues, or events outside our control. We will inform you as soon as possible if there are significant changes.

 

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & SUBSTITUTIONS

We work with trusted hotels, transport companies, guides, and other service providers.

If a third-party provider becomes unavailable, cancels, or changes their service for reasons beyond our control, we may arrange a replacement of a similar standard and value at no extra cost.

Buddha Trails Tours is not responsible for any inconvenience, loss, or extra expenses caused by these changes, but we will do our best to keep your experience enjoyable.

 

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

You are responsible for making sure your passport, visas, and other travel documents are valid and complete. We cannot refund or cover costs for missed services due to incomplete or incorrect documents.

 

HEALTH AND INSURANCE

You should be fit enough to join the tour you choose. We recommend travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and lost or damaged belongings.

 

CODE OF CONDUCT

Please be respectful towards local customs, fellow travelers, and our staff. We may remove anyone from a tour without a refund if they behave in a disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate way.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Buddha Trails Tours is not responsible for:

  • Loss, injury, or damage to your personal belongings
  • Delays, cancellations, or problems caused by events outside our control (such as natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, or third-party failures)

Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the tour.

 

PRICE CHANGES

Prices may change before you book due to currency rates or supplier costs. Once you have booked and paid, your price will not change.
